Easy Weeknight Taco Recipe

This is an easy and yummy taco recipe that the whole family will enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 1 box Old El Paso stand n' stuff taco shells
  • 1 pound 93/7 Ground Beef
  • 1/2 cup Shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 package H-E-B Low Sodium Taco Seasoning This one is my favorite
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1/2 cup Salsa
  • 2 cups Shredded lettuce

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  • Spray a 9x13 metal baking dish with olive oil cooking spray
  • Place taco in metal baking dish and put about 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese in each shell
  • Put taco shells with cheese in oven to cook for about 5-8 minutes
  • Cook ground beef for about 10 minutes until brown and well done
  • Add taco seasoning and water according to taco package instructions
  • Allow taco meat to simmer about 5 minutes
  • Spoon about 1/4 cup taco meat into each taco shell
  • Top each taco with 3 tablespoons of cheese
  • Place in the oven and cook for about 10 minutes
  • Remove tacos from the oven and allow to rest for 5 minutes

Notes

You can add as many garnishes as you like. Our family loves adding salsa, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and guacamole. This is the perfect Taco Tuesday meal. Enjoy!
