How To Create Amazing Memories Even During A Pandemic
Each year our family gathers around our dining room table to create a Fall bucket list. After that, we put the list on our refrigerator, and my sons kindly remind me whenever we need to take some time to complete the activities on our list. LOL! They never let me forget one day of activities. I guess that comes with being a mama, but I actually enjoy our bucket list. This year the holidays will bring everyone a little cheer after the rough year we have had.
As a result, our Fall bucket list will be unique this year because COVID will not allow us to do the normal things we would have planned. Instead of being sad about that, we chose to focus on the positive and create a list of activities that can be done at home or allow for the appropriate amount of social distancing.
Fall Bucket List
Here are a few activities that we have planned:
- Decorate the front porch
- Drink warm apple cider
- Buy pumpkins and carve them
- Bake sweet potato pie
- Bake an apple pie
- Watch Hocus Pocus
- Visit a local Farmer’s Market
- Volunteer
- Take a Fall family photo
- Fall picnic in our backyard
- Wear our favorite team colors while we watch a football game (my family is deeply divided between Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans fans. It gets serious around here during football season. LOL!)
- Buy a new fall candle
- Make homemade cinnamon rolls
- Chili and Movie night
- Read some Autumn poetry
Y’all, I am SUPER excited! I am literally making my grocery list now, so I will have everything on hand when I need it.
Now that you have read a little bit about what our family has planned, are there any items on our list that you plan to try this Fall?
